27 - Fleet Street Continue along Fleet Street turning right along Chancery Lane. Here you have a choice of direction: CHOICE A (THE BLOOMSBURY LOOP) At this point there is the opportunity to explore Bloomsbury in Camden by continuing along Chancery Lane crossing Holborn and heading north on Brownlow Street, crossing Sandland Street and into Bedford Row. At Theobold’s Road cross straight over and continue along Great James’s Street passing Rugby Street and turning left at Great Ormond Street and right on Lambs Conduit Street. Turn left on Guildford Street and right along Lansdowne Terrace passing through the Brunswick Centre to Marchmont Street. Turn right to the junction of Leigh Street at Cartwright Gardens turning left at Judd Street, right on to Cromer Street and left on Argyle Street to Kings Cross Station. Turn left on the Euston Road passing close to the British Library. 28 - British Library Turn left along Judd Street and right on Hastings Street parallel to the Euston Road. Follow into Cartwright Gardens, turn right into Burton Place, right at Burton Street, left on Woburn Walk, right on Upper Woburn Place and left onto the Euston Road. Turn right on Gordon Street passing the University to Gordon Square. Cross Byng Place and turn left at the south side of the Square and turn left again on Woburn Square walking through the School for Oriental Studies campus into Russell Square. Keep to the west of the Square turning right along Montague Place and left into the British Museum. 29 - British Museum Walk through the Museum to join Great Russell Street turning right briefly before taking a left down Museum Street. Turn left at the junction with Bloomsbury Way and continue to Southampton Place on the left. Follow the pedestrian area through to Southampton Row and turn right to Holborn Station. Cross High Holborn and continue on the west side of Kingsway turning right along Great Queen Street into Covent Garden. CHOICE B Alternatively, turn left off Chancery Lane onto Carey Street. Turn right on Serle Street crossing into Lincoln’s Inn Fields. 30 - John Soanes Museum Exit the park opposite John Soane’s Museum on the northern side and turn left along Remnant Street crossing Kingsway to the junction with Great Queen Street. Follow the walkway along Great Queen Street passing the Freemasons’ Hall, turning left on Drury Lane, right on to Broad Court and left on Bow Street to the Royal Opera House
